2004 College Scholarship
Chuck Clenney

He is the son of Chris and Etta Clenney.  At Covington Catholic, Chuck was a
good student with a GPA above 3.0 but the things that make Chuck stand out
among his fellow applicants was his participation at and love for Covington
Catholic High School.

When Chuck was younger he was not the model student.  Upon entrance to
Covington Catholic, Chuck became one of the most involved students in his
class.  During his four years, Chuck was active in the Art Club, Drama Club,
Journalism, Chess Club, Photography Club, Spirit Club, Student Senate and
his Senior Year was elected Student Body President.

Chuck found out that Covington Catholic had more to offer than just sports.
He poured himself into the academics and clubs.  In his words “My hard work
and dedication paid off in the end. With a spirit that will not die, I
transformed from a misguided youth into a responsible, spiritual young man.”
